Adam Boehmer at Midwest Lindyfest

In my opinion Adam is a way underrated dancer in our scene with a very unique sense of movement.  There’s a great flow to this performance and I like the fact that he doesn’t feel compelled to fill every moment with an American Vernacular Jazz Dance^TM pattern.  Sometimes all you need is good dancing.

Mia Goldsmith & Todd Yannacone at All Bal Weekend

I don’t watch the balboa scene too closely, but Mia & Todd’s performance caught my eye and didn’t let go.

Kelly Porter & Dan Newsome at the Down Home Blues Festival

I think this is the first year since 2001 that I’ve seen so many notable blues performances in one year.  Here’s Kelly and Dan with a very intriguing couple routine.
